PLEASE READ OUR TERMS & CONDITIONS

GENERAL INFORMATION 

1.1 These Terms and Conditions govern the use of our website, services, and any transactions conducted with Joanna's.
1.2 By using our website or booking services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or have obtained parental or guardian consent.
1.3 We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on this page.

BOOKING POLICY 

2.1 Appointments can be booked via our website, by phone or in person at the salon. A confirmation email will be sent upon successful booking and a reminder email sent two days prior to your appointment.
2.2 New clients will not be able to book with a stylists or beautician at full capacity but can join the wait list by emailing hello@joannas-salon.co.uk
2.3 Deposits may be required to secure certain treatments. Deposits are non-refundable but may be transferrable with appropriate notice (see our cancellation policy below).
2.4 Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late may need to reschedule or forefit their appointment depending on stylist/beautician availability. 

CANCELLATION AND RESCHEDULING POLICY 

3.1 We kindly request at least 24 notice for cancellations or rescheduling to avoid a late cancellation fee.
3.2 No-Shows: Failure to show up for an appointment without notice may result in a fee of up to 100% of the scheduled service.
3.3 Emergencies: We understand that emergencies happen. Please contact us as soon as possible if you cannot attend your appointment.


PAYMENT TERMS

4.1 Accepted Payments: We accept cash, major credit/debit cards, and digital payment options such as Apple pay.
4.2 Pricing: All prices listed on our website or in the salon are subject to change without prior notice.
4.3 Refunds: We do not offer refunds for completed services. If you are dissatisfied, please notify us within 48 hours so we can address your concerns.
4.4 Gift Cards: Gift cards are non-refundable, non-transferable, and must be used before their expiration date.
4.5 Payments for treatments with our independent beauticians are managed directly. Please bring cash to your appointment.
4.6 Payments for hair extensions are required upfront, we will not order your hair extensions until payment has been received. Delaying payment may result in your fitting appointment been cancelled or forfeited at short notice (cancellation charge will apply). 

PRODUCT PURCHASES

5.1 Returns and Exchanges: Products purchased from our salon may be returned or exchanged within 14 days if unused and in their original packaging. Proof of purchase is required.
5.2 Product Liability: We are not liable for any adverse reactions to products purchased from us if instructions for use were not followed.

CONSULTATION & ALLERGY TEST

6.1 Colour services and hair extension fitting consultations require a completed consultation form. Please check your inbox and fill in the details marked with an asterisk before your consultation.
6.2 All new hair extensions require a consultation with your appointed stylist up to 72 hours before the fitting service.
6.3 You are not obliged to book an appointment at the time of your consultation, but if you do decide to book with us, we will require a deposit to secure your appointment.
6.4 It is essential to inform us of any allergies, medical conditions, or sensitivities prior to your appointment.
6.5 Patch tests are required at least 48 hours before any colour or chemical treatments for new clients, or if you haven’t had the service with us for over 6 months.

LIABILITY DISCLAIMER

7.1 Joanna's is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our services, or products.
7.2 We make every effort to ensure that our services and products meet high standards. However, results may vary based on individual factors.

FEEDBACK 

8.1 Your satisfaction is our top priority. 
If you are unhappy with any part of your experience, please inform us within 7 days of your appointment so we can address your concerns by writing to hello@joannas-salon.co.uk.
8.2 Joanna's reserves the right to refuse further contact or assistance should you choose to rectify the issue through another salon before allowing us to try to resolve.
8.3 We hope you're happy with your new hair extensions, but in the event that you do encounter a problem, we operate on a 7 day policy where we kindly ask that you report the issue to us to enable us to carry out any minor adjustments or alterations that we consider reasonable free of charge within this time.
8.4 Please ensure you read our aftercare sent to you by email after your hair extension fitting. How you look after your hair extensions hugely influences how long they will last you. We are not liable for how your hair extensions wear once you leave the salon.
​8.5 On the rare occasion that your set of hair extensions may be faulty, please contact us straight away. We will need to remove the hair extensions and send back to the supplier. If the hair is proven to be faulty by the supplier, the hair extensions will be replaced like for like.
8.6 We will remove and refit the hair extensions for you at no extra cost, but only if deemed faulty.
