Terms & Conditions
Please take a moment to review our terms and conditions to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience with us. By booking an appointment, you agree to the following terms:

Appointments & Bookings
​
All appointments can be booked via our website, by phone, or in person at the salon. Please ensure that you provide accurate contact details when booking.
​
We do not accept walk-ins for any type of hair dressing service.
​
For hair extension appointments, a consultation is required at least 5 days prior to the appointment.
 
For beauty treatments with independent beauticians, Ayla and Chanelle, bookings are managed independently. You may be contacted directly by them to confirm your appointment and secure a deposit.

Cancellations & Rescheduling
​
We kindly request a minimum of 48 hours’ notice for all cancellations or rescheduling of appointments. Failure to do so may result in a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the service cost.
 
For no-shows, a fee of 100% of the appointment cost may apply.
 
Deposits for beauty appointments may be forfeited if sufficient notice is not provided.

Deposits
​
All hair services booked online will require a deposit of up to 50% of the service cost. This deposit is non-refundable and will be deducted from the final service cost. 
 
Some services, particularly hair extensions, or high-demand appointments, may also require a deposit to secure your booking when booked through your stylist, in-salon or over the phone. The same rule applies.
 
Independent beauty professionals may require deposits, which are managed directly between the client and beautician.​
 
Late Arrivals
​
If you arrive more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, we may not be able to accommodate the full service. In this case, the appointment may need to be rescheduled, and a fee may apply.
 
Please inform us if you are running late so we can try to make adjustments where possible.
 
Consultations
​
For first-time clients or those booking hair extensions, a consultation is required to assess your needs and ensure we have enough time to prepare the necessary products or materials.
 
For colour services, we recommend bringing any inspiration photos to your consultation to help us achieve your desired look.
 
You are not obliged to book an appointment at the time of your consultation, but if you do decide to book you will be asked to pay a deposit to secure your appointment. 
 
Payments
​
Payments for all hair services are due on the day of your appointment.
 
Payments for beauty treatments provided by independent beauticians (Ayla and Chanelle) will be handled separately and directly by them. They may require deposits and will advise on their payment terms.
 
We accept cash, debit, and credit cards. Please note, deposits may need to be paid via bank transfer or online methods, as specified at the time of booking.
 
Payments for hair extensions are to be paid in advance. Please note: we will not order your hair extensions until we are in receipt of monies. If you delay payment and we cannot order the hair in time for your appointment, this may result in a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the service cost.

Product Purchases
​
Products purchased in-salon are non-refundable unless they are faulty. Please ask our team for product advice to ensure you select the best items for your hair or beauty needs.
 
Allergies & Sensitivities
​
It is essential to inform us of any allergies, medical conditions, or sensitivities prior to your appointment. Patch tests are required at least 48 hours before any colour or chemical treatments for new clients, or if you haven’t had the service with us for over 6 months.
​
Personal Belongings
​
We kindly ask you to take care of your personal belongings while at the salon. Joanna’s Hair and Beauty Salon is not responsible for any lost or damaged items.
​
Gift Vouchers
​
Gift vouchers are available for purchase in the salon or through our booking system. Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of issue and cannot be redeemed for cash. Please present your voucher at the time of payment.
 
Complaints & Feedback
​
We hope you're happy with your new hair extensions, but in the event that you do encounter a problem, we operate on a 7 day policy where we kindly ask that you report the issue to us to enable us to carry out any minor adjustments or alterations that we consider reasonable free of charge within this time.
​
How you look after your hair extensions hugely influences how long they will last you. Please read the after care advice on your consultation form before you commit. We are not liable for how your hair extensions wear once you leave the salon. 
 
On the rare occasion that your set of hair extensions may be faulty, please contact us straight away. We will need to remove the hair extensions and send back to the supplier for testing. If the hair is proven to be faulty by the supplier, the hair extensions will be replaced like for like. We would like to pre-warn clients that if the hair extensions have suffered significant heat damage or products not advise for hair extensions have been used this will show in the testing and the supplier will refuse replacement and return it to us. We will remove the hair extensions for you at no extra cost and refit if faulty, but if it is not deemed faulty, you are required to cover the cost of a secondary fitting appointment to re-fit the hair extensions. 
 
Your satisfaction is our top priority. If you are unhappy with any part of your experience, please inform us within 7 days of your appointment so we can address your concerns by writing to hello@joannas-salon.co.uk. We value your feedback and strive to continually improve our services. We reserve the right to refuse further contact or assistance should you choose to rectify the issue through another salon before allowing us to try to resolve.

Health & Safety
​
We take health and safety very seriously and adhere to strict hygiene standards. If you are feeling unwell or have symptoms of an illness, please reschedule your appointment for the safety of our team and other clients.
​
Price Changes
​
Our prices are subject to change without notice. However, once an appointment is booked, the price will remain as quoted at the time of booking unless otherwise stated.
